I'm using the new Google Earth Plugin (7.1) and the web gadget, my placemarks will not load from a .kmz file on my web server. On some machines it works fine on others it does not. It loads other layers from the .kmz but not the placemarks. Tried using IE 10 with compatibility mode and the latest versions of Firefox and Chrome. All machines running windows 8. Is there some sort of cache for the plugin that should be cleared? I tried deleting the browser cache.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Thanks,

Wayne

Do you have an example to look at?

The pins view on two machines for me but not the third. Very strange. Tried clearing browser cache but that did not help.

Thanks,

By the way, the pins are actually there. Data shows up if I click on them. They just are not visible.

Found a solution to my own problem from an older thread:
