Hi,

When programmatically moving around the globe, the set altitude
command (lookat.set Range() ) seems to be in meters but the Status Bar
readout on the page is in feet.
Is there a programmable units setup thingy somewhere?

Also...

ge.getGlobe().getGroundAltitude(latitude,longitude);

What is this referrring to? Is it returning the ground altitude from
sea level (terrain elevation) or is it returning altitude above the
ground (eye level). I imagine this'll be obvious once I sort out my
meters/feet confusion..

Thanks

Hi Maldwyn,

At this time, I don't think there is a way to switch the status bar
parameters, but you could file a feature request for it. And the
"ge.getGlobe().getGroundAltitude(latitude,longitude);" returns ground
elevation at the specified point.
