Hi all,

We have launched version 6.2.0.5905 of the Google Earth Plugin, which
is compiled against version 1.009 of the Google Earth API.

Over the next week or so, the entire Google Earth Plug-in install base
will be updated to the new plug-in version.

As of ~6:30PM PST today, Windows Internet Explorer 8 is an officially
supported browser. That means IE8 users will no longer get the
