Hi, can someone please help, i've used my google desktop for years
scanning my outlook and AIM for some reason now it's stopped scanning
all the messages, it picks up the email, displays the subject but
shows none of the text in the body, the same with the instant
messages, it finds them then when i click i only get the buddy name
not the chat. I've done all the trouble shooting i think, anyone else
got any ideas?

Thanks for the sugestion, but i have already tried this a few times,
it's very odd, and also doesn't explain why it does it with chats
also, I thought it may have something to do with a windows update
maybe? but if no one else is getting problems...?

It's not "no one else." :) I am having the same difficulty. It
worked great for months and then suddenly it starting showing only a
few words -- not very useful. Reindexing, deleting index,
uninstalling completely and reinstalling, etc. have not worked. If
you overcame this, please post your findings. Thanks!

I'm experiencing the same issue. In the desktop results for a search,
if I click on an email, I get only the headers plus about the first 45
characters of the email in question. This was working fine up until
recently.

I too am having this issue.
I am thinking it MAY be due to index size.(i am indexing almost 1.2
million files.
Do we know of a limitation to the indexing?
I am forced to click on "view in outlook" for most my messages, making
using google desktop useless to me.
If anyone has any resolution please let me know
I am going to try to reindex without my google mail and try again.
