I want to limit the number of mails I get from each contact every day 
  People often resend mails wich they received from someone to share some good joke or something interesting. That's ok, but if you receive 5 mails (which are funny, but not really of some importance) from 5 contacts every day then your mailbox gets stuffed, and you don't have time to read them all. Want ability to choose browsers

Search Box Always on Top 
  I usually prefer to have my desktop gadgets floating on the desktop and to remove the sidebar. however I am frustrated by how when I have a window open I cannot remove the white search box. Index also files without extension 
  Could one day GSD start indexing extension-less files? Like "hosts" for example...? Pretty please! :(

Store the Search Index on the Indexed Drive 
  SUGGESTION: Have Google Desktop save the search index information for each drive within that actual drive. So, the index for all files on drive "C" would be located within a specific folder on drive "C". On the same computer, the index for drive "K" would be located in a folder on drive "K" and so on.... more »

Calendar Gadget date format issue 
  please in this gadget or as a Google Desktop setting, allow the adoption of the system default for date format, or else customisation. The "Add event" in this calendar gadget brings up US date format which is confusing (not to mention US centric/chauvinistic) to the rest of the world.
