Subject: i Gadget page wont open automat when I open my Internet Explorer 8

When I open my internet explorer I get the classic google page
although I have devised a gadget page with my account. What happens is
that I get the classic page  and then click the i google .The page
that opens is the new gadget page maker which has a left hand corner
that says if you have an account click, and I do . This takes me to a
sign in page in which I click on E Mail inquiry and up pops my E Mail
address and upon clicking that my password is automatically entered --
the box I click is keep my gadgaet page and I then click and enter the
info which only then brings up my gadget page as I formerly
constructed. It is obvious that Google recognizes my E Mail address
since they flash it and likewuise my account password that they fill
in BUT I cannot get them to follow their own instructions and open
this page first. What can I do?
