Just wanted to add that I am seeing the same problem. Running regsvr32
on cpp.dll gives these 2 dialogs:

---------------------------
Registration Status
---------------------------
The CPP Plugin Indexer has NOT been registered successfully. Unknown
error.
Please uninstall and re-install this plugin.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

and then...

---------------------------
RegSvr32
---------------------------
DllRegisterServer in cpp.dll failed.
Return code was: 0x80040154
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

that return code is 'class not registered', which doesn't give much
more info...

---------------------------
RegSvr32
---------------------------
LoadLibrary("C:\Programmi\CPPIndexer\CPP.dll") non riuscito -
Impossibile trovare il modulo specificato.

---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

traslation: not successfull - unable to found specified module

This seems to be a common problem that I am experiencing too. People
down the hall from me on the same network, same configuration, all have
it working. Hoping for a resolution. Trying to contact Google.

I had similar problem and then I found that CCPindexer is conflict with
Larry's Any Text File Indexer.
The problem was that when I installed Larry's text indexer before I
have added CPP and H files for indexing. I solved it bit ugly..removed
larry's indexer from registry, now the CPPindexer works.
