Search Results and Ads in your CSE Google Group

No results

Hello,

i have created a custom search engine for our web site but it doesn't
show any results. The site is not commercial it's just a school
project and we have putted it here:

So i don't know if Google is able to get to our page at all. My
question is how to solve this?

I have recently updated my site, submitted a sitemap, but my search
engine is
still indexing and showing old pages(two weeks before) that have not
either been updated, or even completely deleted.

I am free to user "Google Site Search", sure I need to buy "Google
Site Search" first then you can updated my search engine more

Thank you, Christine,

When the time comes, I pray I will be registered as a 501(c)(3). It
isn't that I don't like the ads, though. If I could exclude ads like I
can search results, that would be ideal. For now, I'll opt out of
having ads and will comply if the policy changes or I register as a 501

Hi guys,

Sitebereit, glad you got your CSE working the way you want. Greg,
Sitebereit is correct that we don't currently require your site to be
a registered non-profit in order to display results with no ads.
However, it's possible that this will change in the future so I'd
encourage you to register as a 501(c)(3) when you get the chance.

Thank you very much,
I did`nt see the option. I have edit my CSE (you can edit and change
an excisting CSE) and now is all fine - no advertising. And it is`nt
necessary to register anywhere.

Keep attention that you use a supportet browser - with Safari it
does`nt work...

Do the non-profits need to be registered as such? I run an
organization that is non-profit, but we haven't yet registered with
the IRS as a non-profit.

Christine,

I'm experiencing the same problem: CSE is showing results for the
wrong URLs. I will use on-demand to see if it solves the issue.

One question though: The sitemap data shows the right number of URLs
with a Last Crawled date of today. If that's true, then why is my CSE
not updated?

How can we as an faculty get a free search without advertise?
I read that it is possible for a registered educational institution -
where is it possible?

No results

i have added my search code into my website and also added a search
results page.

I have 2 sites, one thats only HTML and the other site which is
asp.net based.

I have created different search codes for the 2 sites. However, the
html site works fine, but the ASP.NET site does not.

When i click on search, the page does a postback and comes back to the

https instead http

Code used in result page contains:

All our site is using https and before result page is loaded ugly
alert appears about elements that are not secured. If I put https in
this line, no results are shown.

Excluded Sites for Ads

I was wondering about having the excluded sites being for ads. I found
an ad I wouldn't want to show up when a user searches using my CSE.
So, I put the address in my excluded sites. However, the ad still
shows up. Am I out of luck with this one?

Now it's working again. The problem appeared after I had uploaded new
context and annotations files. Perhaps it sometimes takes some time
for changes to fully take place.

No results in Custom Search

I've set up 3 Custom Search Engines on this page:

But i'm getting no results when entering a keyword such as "Retro".
I thought it had something to do with the coding but on this page:

CSE sometimes not working

When I try this search (as an example - the same thing happens with
other searches):

Then sometimes search results come up and sometimes no results appear.
