Subject: Time allotted for each problem

Hi, I want to know the exact time allotted for each problem in the contest.
In my case, I am trying out the practice problems at
http://code.google.com/codejam/contest/dashboard?c=32003. For the problem
on that page (Alien Numbers), the details of the solutions are provided at
http://code.google.com/codejam/contest/scoreboard?c=32003. Now on checking
the Time Submitted checkbox, the time taken for each solution is displayed.
Hovering over any such time value shows a small tooltip. for example, for
the first solution (by *sclo*), hovering over the time* 20:38* shows the
tooltip *sclo solved this input at time 20:38*. Now what does it mean, does
it mean that he submitted the solution at 20:38 as per the contest time, or
is it that he submitted the solution 20:38 minutes since the contest
started? And also at  http://code.google.com/codejam/quickstart.html, it
mentions time limits like 4 minutes and 8 minutes. Does it mean that the
contestants should submit their solutions within 4/8 minutes after the
contest starts? How is it possible to think and code within such limited
time?

Hey cupid !!
Its simple...

   - sclo solved and submitted the solution in 20 mins 38 seconds since the
   contest officially starts
   - the time limit of 4 mins is given to download the test case and run it
along yur program. so make sure your output is generated within those 4 / 8
mins. any delay will cost u a penalty.

Hope this cleared your timely confusion :p
