well obviously google finally broke down against the commercial
pressures, and cuttes off many products which aren't profitable in the
big way like the main search is. This is not just sad, this is the
beginning of a falldown of yet another IT-Mega Biz just like some Big
OS-Developer(s).
Google has its market position not just because all other searches
aren't that effektiv, no google brought up some of the biggest IT
Innovation since its foundation 1998. This simple fact is the reason
why google is state-of-the-art informationgathering technology company
worldwide. I am , an i suppose many others, use google in favor of
other web service provider as first choice because i know a will find
almost everything i need to look up some sort of information in the
web there. This will change, so I, an i suppose many others, am going
to look for new providers, which satisfy my "search-needs". I won't be
hanging on to a platform where i 'm just able to look for some
informations i need, and where i have to complete my searches
somewhere else. This is ineffective and will cost google a lot of
"first-visit-google" users in future.
And by the Way , google should stop making advertisement and
statements, telling us they support open source and free programming
and innovation. Because cutting of crucial services for this scene
isn't support, it is actually and act of sabotage of this scene.
Well I hope that google will suddenly "wake up" and remembers why they
are who they are, and where they came from.
