Hi,
I was trying to enable tracking of my http://code.google.com page using the
google analytics and in my google code page it states:
Anyone may sign up for a free Google Analytics account. Once you have an
account:
1. Add a profile for a new domain and specify URL http://code.google.com/
2. Edit the profile that you just created to change its Website URL to
http://code.google.com/p/XXX
3. Paste your Google Analytics profile's Web Property ID below and save
changes.
4. About 24 hours after you add your Web Property ID, your profile
should begin to indicate that it is receiving data.
However, there is no place that I can paste the Web Property ID in the
google analytics page as one is always assigned to you. While checking the
google analytics help I saw that they do not cover the case of tracking a
http://code.google.com page but only google sites. Can anyone help me on
this?
Thanks
