I just switched from subversion to hg. In svn, I could refer to
revisions by writing rNNN. What's the notation for referring to a hg
revision? I did a quick search, but didn't find anything.

We still support the rXXXX highlighting even though it doesn't make as
much sense in with the hg hex strings. You can also refer to a
revision as "revision XXXX" as well and auto-linking will work.
