Even I have marked 'Search only included sites' on my customized search engine I get results from the web, e.g. from other websites than from the ones I have listed. What I am doing wrong?
I have the exact same problem. Got it working from my google-adress but once I made my own page (own hompage, box and personalized code) it included the Entire web in every search.

me2. seems to be a general problem or perhaps its a feature :/
The same is happening to me. I think this is because Google tries to show the results in your language. If you force the language to english (&hl=en) it works. Unfortunately, very few ads show up, because most advertisers only show them to surfers their native language. So tough luck trying to earn money for your hosting bills through Adsense.
Could you please post the url for your search engine? If you have indicated that you want to restrict search results to only your sites, it should not include anything from other sites.
Yeah, me too. I'm trying to set up an english custom search from germany. Every time I'm testing it, it searches the whole web even if it is supposed to search my added sites only :-(

You probably have an English language browser, so you will see the correct results. But I have my IE set to Polish and I see regular web search results, with the interface in Polish. When I add an additional hidden field to the form and force the language to English, I see the correct custom search engine.

Maybe it works in the moment only with "en" as language parameter?
When i force it to "en", it works, if i force it to "de", i get the whole web.

Yes, I think so, too. But if you want to earn some money through Adsense, that is a problem. With the language set to "en" only very few ads in other languages will show.
Yes, you are right. Right now Custom Search Engines work only for the English language, i.e. with "hl=en" as a parameter. We are working toward internationalizing Custom Search Engines and will keep you posted through our site.
