Subject: webpages take forever to load- 'resolving host'
Google chrome is really getting on my nerves. This is my first time
using an internet browser besides internet explorer and Google Chrome
does not seem ANY better than internet explorer. I thought it would
have faster browsing, but I thought wrong. My webpages are taking
FOREVER to load - 25seconds just to load www.futureshop.ca
At the bottom left corner the status shows that it is 'resolving
host'. Anyone know why? Unless this issue is fixed soon, Im saying
goodbye to google chrome.

Is your machine multi-homed?  I was having the same problem and this

Hi,rcmp1234.  I had the same issue and what worked for me was to click
the Wrench, Options, Under the Hood and in the Network section uncheck
the "use DNS pre-fetching..."  I haven't seen a "resolving host"
message since and the browser is much faster.  Hope this works for
you.  Good Luck.
