Subject: x-webkit-speech support in Chrome for iOS?

None of the Chrome releases for iOS appear to support the x-webkit-speech input type, although it obviously supports speech input for the built in search bar.

Does anyone know if the speech input type is planned to be supported in a future Chrome for iOS release?

Chrome for iOS is actually a Safari skin. If Safari supports it, Chrome
supports it. You will have to ask Apple or the WebKit folks, though my
guess is that "no comment" will be the answer (or no answer at all).

Note that this group is for the Developer Tools feature of Google Chrome
and not for general development/Chrome/WebKit inquiries.

Ack, sorry about that.

Is there an appropriate forum for the WebKit folks?
