Hi all,
it's been some time since my developer tools has updated and I feel
like something's missing in the new version. Example: in the Resources
panel there were filters like "documents", "images", etc. and it was
possible to take a look at the HTTP headers of every single resource,
while now all those things have magically disappeared... is there a
way to fix these that or maybe to return to the previous version?

Here's a screenshot of my version: http://i55.tinypic.com/308z8z4.jpg
and there's one from the previous: http://bit.ly/fSzfE5

Thank you in advance!

Information about request times, both request and response headers, cookies and even detailed timing information is now available via the Network panel.

Click on the record button (fourth from the bottom-left corner when the panel has been opened) and reload your page.

I like the old version better. The "resources" tab doesn't show the
thing i wanted.
is there any way to get the old version back?.

No, there is not. Could you emphasize on what you are missing in the
Resource and Network panels?

I certainly cant speak for Shaily, but I also noticed that some
information from the old Resources panel is missing. For example the
possibility to view the compressed/uncompressed file size (like it is
possible in older versions / safari).
While I do agree that the timeline is most often more important than a
graphical representation of the filesize, there are situations where
it comes in handy.

Other than that, the new network and Resources panel look very
promising.

You can see compressed/uncompressed sizes if you turn on large rows
(toggle in the bottom of the screen).
We should probably allow sorting by both and make transfer size
primary. Feel free to file requests on those! crbug.com/ or webkit.org/
