Hey,

You will have the "Show rulers" checkbox in the "General" tab of the
DevTools settings in the latest Chrome 24 (and it should be off by default).

Yeah, this should be a hotfix cause it's driving me to drink.. (well at
least more then I normally do :p)

Granted, it's the only use I've found so far, but it takes the guess work
out of finding break-points for responsive sites.

Any chance you'd be willing to gift the community with a user stylesheet

I am unable to adequately compare the margins of my website due to the
ruler.  It is of grave hinderance to the large scale development I create.
 Please provide hotfix.

The next version (due in a week or two, according to the approximate
schedule) should have such option, if I am not mistaken.

In the settings (gear button in the bottom right corner), General, there
should be a check box setting for that.
