Subject: Is this really that difficult?
I have more than a decade of programming experience ad have built a
complete hosting system at pagebuzz.com with extremely advanced
functions.

I run secure servers that processes through networks like
authorize.net and even the paypal IPN. But I am lost here.

I don't want to install a pile of perl modules and xml files in my
servers. It does not seem necessary.

Can't I just post the fields and get a response like I do on all the
other gateways?

Am I looking in the wrong place or has google just made it more
complicated than it needs to be.

After all, passing data is not brain surgery, but here it seems like
it has been elevated to that level.

Is there a page with a simple solution? A standard https post?

Google Checkout provides two alternatives: "HTML API" and "XML API".
I think, but am not sure that "HTML API" is also called "Level 1
integration" and "XML API" is also called "Level 2 Integration".
Could someone confirm this?

Anyhow, the "HTML API" is more like what you want.  No perl modules,
etc.  Although I found it incapable of some simple thing so I ended up
having to use "XML API".

Search the list archives for my name and you'll get my opinion on
that ;)
