Too many chm points on line charts?

I am having a problem with adding chm markers to my line charts. In
the example below , i have a line chart with 500 values. The URL does
not appear to be too long, since the line itself draws fine. But only
about the first half of the markers are drawn correctly. Is there some
kind of maximum to the number of chm markers that will be drawn??

The second snippet below is exactly the same except i set the "data
point" parameter of the chm section to -2 rather than -1 (meaning it
will only draw a marker for every other data point). That works fine.
What's going on?

and try something like: "chm=d,0000FF,0,0:1000:-1,4,0"

Hmm, thanks for the tip. Unfortunately i'm using the charts4j API ,
which seems to have this marker code hard coded to do the "chm=d,
0000FF,0,-1,4,0" version. I'll try to add this thread as an issue for
that project.
