What I want to add is for the descriptions to show up ALSO on the
"Agenda" view, when you click on the event and it expands addt'l info
below. Right now, the expansion does nothing to add information...just
tells you the ending time of the event, and again you have to click on
"edit event details" in order to see your description.
GOOGLE, PLEASE ADD THIS!! it would be extremely helpful and useful.
I do agree we need to have this feature. I'm a student and I use the
Google Calendar to enter in my assignment information. So, rather than
going to edit details I should be able to click on the event and the
bubble displays ALL of the event details not just the time/date and
who created it. Also, I think there should be an option if you are
just using the calendar for personal use that the "Created by" line
can be turned off rather by default shown.

I'm advocating that Google come out with Google Planner that
incorporates the elements of Gcal, notebook, and all other daily life
management-type applications. Put it all in one, and BAM! No
competition!

Any new updates on displaying the event description on the pop up
bubble?? I've noticed that the 'Add a Public Calendar' section
including the Disney, Barack Obama, and John McCain public calendars
display the event description on the pop up bubble when you click on
the calendar link & preview the events. I would love the same option
for my own calendar, yet I've kept searching with no answer, its very
frustrating.

If you have a website and you embed your calendar on a webpage, you
have a quick, easy view of your calendar (with just about whatever sub-
calendars and public calendars you care to include from your calendars
panel.) You can click on an event and get the where, when, and
description in the bubble in weekly, monthly and agenda views. (The
downside is that anyone on the internet can conceivably see your
entire schedule too.)

That’s interesting, so the option is available yet not to the everyday
user interface. At least this gives me hope that it might be
available to everyone sooner than later.
Its funny, I didn't understand why people would rant on about issues
with free services until I started using the Calendar & depending on
it. :)
