So do you feel " snobbed" simply because you do not know the answer to one
question ? But then, since you surely do not know the answers for thousands
of questions regarding several topics, you should feel much, much worse
than this... I do not feel snobbed at all when I do not know how to answer
a question, if it's not strictly related to my work and my
knowledge/competencies. Unless you are supposed to know the answer because
it is strictly related to your work, there is absolutely nothing wrong with
this. It is natural. But I fear you may not understand this, since you
actually admit to feel "snobbed"...
