Hi Jason, I also am trying to get an intranet calendar to work.. only
I have 2 calendars, one in eng. and the other in fr... and I am not
able to see that my events that I enter are posted in the embeded
calendar on our internal website.. have you managed to figure the
problem out and if so, can you VERY SIMPLY explain to me how to fix
it..

I am having issues also with Remember the Milk updating in Google
Calendar (It has now been over a day and half since it updated). It is
working fine in Apple's iCal. Any word on the solution to this?

RTM is finally working again and updating. If still not working for
you, reset private urls, log out then log back in, and copy and paste
iCal events task url into the Google Calendar add by url dialogue. I
selected make public, but not sure if you have to or not in order to
get the thing to work.

I tried making my calendar private again, and the same problem still
exists (embedded calendar is blank unless it's made public). So it
doesn't appear to be fixed yet.
Well, thank you for replies. I know what to deal with one calendar
in one frame. My problem is how to embed several calendars in one
frame with private addresses. Do you have any idea about it? Thanks.

Yep still having issues here. If I refresh private address and put the
new links into Google Cal they will be up to date, but it will not
refresh after that.

Not sure if this will help others in thread, but I hope the Google
Calendars folks see it...
I recently created a private Google Group for a team I'm coaching. I
created a private Google Calendar for the team, and shared the private
link on the front page of the Group, as suggested in the case that
group members don't use Google Calendar.
It seemed to work for me, but most of the members could not see events
in the calendar. An error message at the top read: "Events from one
or more calendars could not be shown here because you do not have the
permission to view them."
This didn't make much sense to me, since the private link is supposed
to give read-only access to the calendar without any login, right?
After playing a bit with the URLs available in the calendar settings,
I found my group members could access the calendar via the private
address after a small tweak.
The original form did work for some of the group members, but the
tweaked form worked for everyone. I have no idea why, but as long as
it holds true, the tweaked form should be presented as the private
address of Google Calendars on the Settings page.
This thread has become quite the hodge-podge of reports. It sounds
like the original problem has been resolved but many of you are still
experiencing issues with embedded calendars and feeds updating.
To answer one question that has come up a few times:
For anyone who is having issues with a calendar feed updating
(including Remember the Milk,) please keep in mind that it takes a few
hours for feeds to be updated in Google Calendar. There isn't
currently a way to do a manual refresh but we’re looking into this
request.
I also see many reports regarding an “Unable to Fetch URL” error
message displaying. I’d like to troubleshoot these reports but this
thread has become quite a mess so I ask that you create a new thread
documenting this specific issue. Please provide the URL, product and
version that published the feed.
I’m closing this thread as it has gone off topic. Please search for
another thread that is more closely related to the problem you’re
experiencing. If you can’t find an existing thread, feel free to start
a fresh one.
