Could someone from Google please address what is going on with the
calendar server today? Obviously it isn't an isolated incident. I'm
sure many of us would appreciate a sense of when we'll be back online--
or at least an indication that someone on your end is aware of and
working on the problem. Like many others, my main calendar loads
sporadically, and none of my sub-calendars load at all. And yes, I've
done the troubleshooting. Thank you.
Worse still - it seems that all my entries in Google Calendar
disappeared today, and then the sync deleted all the entries from my
outlook on desktop so my schedules have ceased to exist anywhere!
what is going on? will i be able to restore the lost events. this is
extremely serious as i have no record of where i should be next. can
someone advise?

It seems like adding events to a secondary calendar does not save, but
adding events to my primary (default) calendar does! I've found a
workaround to my problem, I just add events to my default calendar and
switch them the their respective calendar.
