Hello everyone,

Today we posted on the official Google blog that Google Buzz is being put
into archive mode on or after November 14th, and I wanted to let everyone
here know that the API and Buttons will be shut down at the same time.  You
can read more at http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2011/10/fall-sweep.html.

Let's hope there will be a mature G+ API soon, supporting location checkins
properly.
Buzz was the only API where we could "kinda" perform checkins. I hope a
proper alternative will come soon....
