Hi,

Here is a question for Google Bookmarks users: Why are you
using Google Bookmarks?

That is, why are you using Google Bookmarks and not, say, del.icio.us
or Simpy or ...?

Thanks!

Hello, OG,

I use google bookmarks simply because it's a google product. I use a
lot of the services offered by google for this reason.

The only reason I can see using it, is so you only have 1 login for
everything. Other than that it doesnt' offer anything new or better.

After trying it out some more, Google Bookmarks officially sucks.
There is no import feature. I guess they don't consider this to be a
major project though.

I'm using Google Bookmarks because it allows me to search the content
of the pages I bookmark pretty much instantly. I hate tagging, so full
content search is very much appreciated, and all other services which
currently allow this (furl, simpy, diigo) have a huge delay in caching
the pages. Sometimes they don't even cache it at all.

It's also the fastest one I've tried. For me, at least.

If you install the Google toolbar there is an import bookmarks feature
for Firefox and IE into Google bookmarks.

See my post on Google Notebook. This is a great addition that I don't
think the others have.
