Finding out if a given blog is being indexed?

It's great that you are publishing the changes.xml file. Is there any
way to find out if a given blog is being indexed and can therefore be
expected to show up in future changes.xml files? I would like to rely
exclusively on the changes.xml file, but understand that even Google
might miss a feed every now and then. In that case, I would like to
be able to know that a feed is missing from your index and either get
it added or start checking for updates manually.

The easiest way to check whether a blog is in the index is to use the
blogurl: operator. The query [blogurl:jeremyhylton.blogspot.com]
finds all the posts from my blog.
