Subject: Announcing the Google Apps for Your Domain single sign-on API
We're happy to announce the release of the Google Apps for Your Domain
single sign-on API. This API, based on the SAML 2.0 standard, will let you integrate your own authentication system with Google Apps for Your Domain and securely login your users to web based hosted Google applications (like GMail, Calendar, and Personalized Home Page) based on your own security standards. For example, you can use this API to integrate with leading web single sign on systems, or facilitate authentication via Active Directory or other directory servers. You can also use our SSO infrastructure to integrate Google Apps for Your Domain with websites that have their own username and authentication mechanisms, eliminating the need for users to log in multiple times. Documentation for the SAML 2.0 based Single Sign On implementation is http://code.google.com/apis/apps-for-your-domain/sso/saml_reference_i... In addition, to aid in your development, we have provided a Java http://code.google.com/apis/apps-for-your-domain/sso/saml_reference_i... All of the developers using these APIs are on this Google Group, and we Thank you for participating in the Google Apps for Your Domain API beta The Google Apps for Your Domain API team You must Sign in before you can post messages.
