If you saw my post on Google Bot consuming 85k page views in a day seemingly out of the blue, Yes I have seen hours jump even when traffic in Analytics don’t.

Google Just switched to “Google Wallet” I got lots of micro bills when that happened… (Like 30 charges under 30 cents) which was part of what pushed me to combine as many of my apps as possible.

Subject: [google-appengine] Two entries in billing history for the same day, one with charges and inflated hours, what is going on ?

Hi

I just recieved a bill (admittedly small) for the 2011-11-20.  In my billing in history I have in fact

two entries for that day, and in fact for the same time.  One has billable hours of 117 and the other 16.7

This has never happened before (that many hours used and two entries in the billing history for the exact same period)

This seems very odd, and in fact wrong.  Our site never gets that much traffic and billable hours never gets above 20 hours.

Any one else seen this ?

Rgds

Tim

Actually I am stupid, I just realized that the actual charge is for the minimum billing spend.

They are just inflating the used hours in the statement for some reason, which through me off.
That shouldn't be necessary, they should just rely on the minimum spend line item.

Also the billing invoice doesn't say what the period of the invoice is.

Sheepishly pulls ones head in ;-)
