Can't edit entities in production datastore viewer

I'm having a problem with the production datastore viewer.
I can see all the data for each entity but when I try to edit
something, the change refuses to take effect.
It doesn't seem to matter what property I edit either. They all
refuse to change.

Should this behavior surprise me?

I have noticed this on one of our entities also. Its a big one, and
what I noticed is that the fields at the end dont change value but the
fields on the top do.

Go figure!
