Moving our data to Google App Engine

I have some questions about transfer large amounts of data (10+ TB). I
am wondering if the data can be shipped in via FedEx or UPS. I am
hoping to have the data available faster then an internet transfer. I
have a few questions about this possibility.
- How quickly will the data be available on Google App Engine after
receiving the data?
- Can the hard drives (to ship data) be returned?
- Is there any additional cost for handling and plugging in the drive?
- What zip code will the data be shipped to? I need it for calculating
costs.

There's no such facility in place, and I don't expect Google to be
offering one in the short- to medium-term.

Why do you have so much data? Would Amazon S3 be a better option? (I
don't know if they offer a mail-in facility)

Hi,

App Engine doesn't accept hard drives for loading of data.  Currently, all data must be loaded in to datastore via HTTP requests.  For this purpose, we have a bulk upload utility that can populate the data for your app from your local machine.
