Reminder: there will be a scheduled maintenance period for App Engine
today at 5:00 PM Pacific Time, for approximately one hour. The
datastore will be in read-only mode for the majority of the period,
and read/write disabled for a shorter window. Memcache reads and
writes will be unavailable for the duration.

App Engine maintenance period has completed successfully, and App
Engine application serving and full datastore and memcache APIs have
been restored as of 6:03 PM. However, the cron service and index
building are still undergoing maintenance. We expect them to be up
shortly and will update this thread with more information.

App Engine datastore and memcache API have been fully restored, and
the cron service has completed maintenance and is running.

The total read-only period for datastore access was roughly from 5:15
to 6:03 PM Pacific Time.
