I am trying to use google task api. Can I login to google with username and
password.

Authentication for Google APIs requires that users sign in via OAuth 2.
There is no longer support for authenticating users by providing a username
and password to the API server.

Older Google APIs did support a username/password protocol for
authenticating users, called ClientLogin. For security reasons, that
protocol is considered deprecated, and does not work with newer APIs.
