Should i use filter to remove keywords == (not set) when use a GAPI?

Hi Nick,

I am wonder if i need to remove the keywords == (not set) when i use
the GAPI to get the keywords report. In the Traffic Source -> Keywords
report, the keywords == (not set) is not show, but we i use i API to
get the keywords report data, found (not set) appeared, i am not
sure how to do it, please help me.

BTW, I searched a lot about why there appear (not set) in the
keywords, but i still do not know the detail, forgive me a very new on
Google Analytics.

Hi,

We use (not set) as a place holder for referrals that don't have a
keyword. For example, direct traffic. You should add a filter
criteria, ga:medium==organic or ga:source==google to get referrals
with keywords.

Alternatively you could use ga:keyword!=(not set) and ga:keyword!=
(content targeting) to get all search traffic (both paid and organic).
