Hi,

To increase transparency, we wanted to let you know about some
improvements to the Data export API that will happen in the upcoming
weeks:

1. Currently the Google Analytics API uses a different sampling rate
than the web interface. This has led some developers to see
differences between the two. To bring these inline, we are going to
make the sampling rates equal. As a result, users may notice some
small changes to their report data via the API as a consequence. This
is a one time change and data should remain consistent thereafter.

2. We are fixing a bug on how the API reports confidence intervals.
Previously confidence intervals could have a value of either "INF" or
a number from 0 to 1. Soon all confidence intervals will have a value
of either "INF" or a number greater than or equal to 0.

3. We are ehancing the iPhone Default Segment (gaid::-11) to now
report on all mobile devices. While the ID will stay the same (-11),
the name and expression this Default Segment represents will change.

Thanks,
-Nick Mihailovksi, The Google Analytics API Team
