Whoah! Default CSE search box just got huge?

I created a custom 2-page search box/results page for my site some few
months ago. At the time, the box being drawn by the API was small
enough to fit on one line (the box and search button, with google
branding inside the search box). All good, and I designed things
around that.

As of yesterday, however, the box and button started rendering about
twice as tall, with an additional line taken up below it with a
"powered by Google" logo! Anyone else notice this? Any way to change
it back (I couldn't find any in the settings area)? Or am I going to
have to re-design my entire site now? Yikes!
