I Just came across this thread but am having the exact same issues.
I'm pulling in feeds from a couple different locations on our website and occasionally get the 'QPS Rate Exceeded' message. In all cases we aren't pulling many feeds...on the home page we have two locations pulling them, 1 is just pulling 1 feed (most recent) and another location is pulling 4. Is this too many?
