Retrieving reviews

Hello,

I am currently developing an app which has to do with getting some
local places. I would like to ask two things...

1)¿Is there any way to get user comments/reviews/feedback? The api
itself does not seem to provide a way to do so.

If not, is there any other gogle way/api to get this without having to
call on other services like yelp.com or qype.co.uk api?

2) Is it possible to obtain the same photos from a place that you see
in google maps (when you click in "more info" link from a place) from
an api search? I´ve managed to get some photos using the api search
and filtering by site: panoramio.com but the photos I get are not the
same that google maps gives me.

¿Any idea?

Please I really need to get this things solved as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, there is no way to do this via Google. You might try
Yahoo!'s LocalSearch API. Here's a link:
