If you go here: http://www.noamwolf.com/googleAPI.html you can see
that if you use "en" to "pt" (english to portugese) you'll get a 400
error.

This isn't a bug -- the code for Portugese is 'pt-PT', not 'pt'.  You can
check out the language codes here (
http://code.google.com/apis/ajaxlanguage/documentation/reference.html...
).

To be safer, you can use the enum google.language.Languages.PORTUGUESE

erased two bugs -- one, the user was using the wrong API key, the
other, the user was using the wrong url encoded query

Took out another bug listing -- user was using "pt" instead of "pt-PT"
for the translation code to Portugese.

The start parameter won't work for the Blog Search because blog and
local searches don't support paging.

I'm using the API to access search results from PHP, and have just
come across this bug: The  cursor->pages property reports 4 pages, but
accessing further pages reduces that number to 1, 2 or 3. The first
page's result count appears to be including the "omitted" results when
it shouldn't be. Discussion here:

Not sure if a fix has been made for native JavaScript access yet, but
if so could it please also be applied to the non-JavaScript access?
