Search Arguments...

I would like to know how to use the search arguments properly. eg.?
q=blahblah
I am using the multi tabbed search on my site. When type ?q=dfdfdf
nothing happens. I tried to modify I still can't get it to work. It
didn't work with your sample either. I only found it to work with the
group search (http://code.google.com/search/#p=ajaxsearch&q=search)

I am thinking that you're wanting to use arguments which users supply
in their url within your Javascript-based search application. This can
be done, but you will have to write a Javascript function to parse the
arguments out of the url. There are a number of examples of doing this
available on the internet. You will then need to modify your JS to get
the argument and execute your search control.
