Every time I add a site to Google Sitemaps, all the pages except for
old ones deleted months ago are removed from the index.  It's like the
have it in reverse.  The remove the pages in the XML.  The most recent
site shows NO problems in the sitemaps report.  No pages unreachable,
No problems following URLs, Not time outs, nada.  I added the site map
over a month ago and about 2 weeks ago, all but the home page
disappeared.  This has happened a few times.  I suggest just adding a
HTML site map, link to it from your home page and be done with it.
