New Golf Pad Beta version released today!

Golf Pad version 20.0 is released today and should be available from Google Play Store within the next few hours. The big chunk of new updates are under the hood though. 2 things would elevate this app to the next level and I'd happily pay £50+ a year subscription.

1. Add the option to add an extra target points andeven potentially a dispersion ring based on handicap average so I can plot Par 5's. See https://www.provisualizer.com/ for an example of adding and removing targets plus dispersion rings. Be also nice to plot the course before hand and then save it so when you get up to the tee box you see your game plan for the hole and stay focused. 

2. Manual input for club distance. Not good enough for club distances to go up in multiples of 5y.

Ryan, thank you for the great feedback! Makes sense regarding target points and dispersion! The Pro Vizualizer looks like an awesome tool! One of the major focus areas going forward is the round strategy planning tool, and this can certainly be a part of it! The club distances with 1yd step should be an easy fix, I'll ask the team if this can be added in the next update.

Thanks. Another idea for future releases would be AI. When I used Arccos before they had a premium feature where AI would plot the course for you acting as a caddy based on your handicap, club distances and current weather.

Def another feature that I wouldn't mind paying extra for. 👍

Beta is working fine for me but it inexplicably removed just 3 clubs from my bag (7, 8 and 9 iron).

I so wish you would add the ability to play 9-hole rounds to Golf Pad. Thousands of people play 9 holes, but (as I've explained previously) the handicap calculation is different from 18 holes. Golf Pad could so easily make that calculation, but instead it just applies the handicap of 18 holes to the 9 played. I've been asking about this for years now.

I haven't played a round using the new version yet. Has the pick-up option been changed to score the hole at 0 points, i.e. par+2+handicap for that hole.

Yes, planning would be a great idea, like Ryan wrote! As I´m playing mostly the same course it would be great to be able to save it, too.

Also, if one could see both in the map after the round, the planned shots and the real one, it would be very helpful for seeing where it went wrong.

And maybe be able to plan the hole backwards, planning the shot to the green first and going back to the tee from there.
