Problem w. Go Installation.

Can someone please help me with my attempted Go installation? I  got it right the other day with oinstalling Go, actually did a little bit of coding in it. But since then I get this series of weird messages, in the command prompt, when I try to look inside the newly created "Go" folder! Thanx to anyone who can help me with this.

You type "dir" in a directory and Windows start spitting out errors? I don't think you have a Go installation problem. Seems like an issue with your Windows install - viruses, malware? What do you get if you just type "dir" in c:\ ?

"What do you get if you just type "dir" in c:\ ?" I am afraoid that I get exactly the same stuff that I posted last nite when I did the "dir C:\Go"! I DO have a big time adware problem, i.e., nasty pop up ads in the most inconvenient places on certain websites. So is there a good anti-adware app.  that u would recommend for me?

FYI I aslready have Malwarebytes! [I should have earlier indicated that] I also took someone's aDVice and put the "C:\Windows\System32" folder into my  PATH environment variable but that didn't help.

How are you spawning your shell window? Try the Windows key, then type cmd in the search window, then hit enter. Now try the dir command.

Check your comspec variable via > echo %comspec% 

It should be C:\Windows\system32\cmd.exe

FYI - your System32 folder should already be in your path via %SystemRoot%\System32  where SystemRoot = C:\WINDOWS
