Hi! First of all congratulations to Google and Go dev's/community/
managers. I wish the best of success on this entrepreneur!

I've taken a fast read on Go home site's FAQs and didn't find anything
about the framework/toolset/language/runtime_vm/etc license model.

Is it GPLv2 compatible, LGPL for plugins etc?

Thanks for the help and agian, congrats for the project. Best of luck
to you!

Regards,
Raine.

Here is the licence: http://code.google.com/p/go/source/browse/LICENSE

This is commonly called a BSD style license. I'm not going to give
specific legal advice about it's compatibility with other licenses
because I don't specialise in that, but you can find information about
various scenarios involving BSD vs [L]GPL[23] online.
