Hello all. I'm looking for a photograph of the Go gopher riding a unicorn, perhaps the very selfsame unicorn that vomits rainbows. If anyone has such a photograph, will you please grant me permissions to briefly make use of such photograph? Thank you in advance.

Must it be an actual photograph or would a drawing be OK?

Certainly, a drawing or painting or sketch of any kind should suffice perfectly well. Thank you for requesting this clarification!

I must say, no email subject has attracted my attention faster. You have a promising future as a spam writer.

Michael, if you happen to have an actual photograph, please do not deny the rest of the world this sight!

Agreed. :-D

Just a guess, Will you make some presentation about Go & Unicorn?

Also the Gopher is released under a Creative Commons license, so you
could pay someone to make the unicorn or do some Gimp editing
yourself.

Although a reasonable guess, Unicorn won't actually be involved in my presentation. It's titled "Go stands for 'awesome'" and is more of a philosophical presentation about what makes Go so amazing.

Thank you for informing me! Unfortunately I lack sufficient skills or monetary recompense for such solutions.

I figured it probably didn't need to be more colorful.

I don't know. I don't have copyright for either of the source images,
and if the new image is mine by copyright (parody, maybe?) then where
legal, it's public domain. Maybe someone who knows more about this can
suggest as to how this image may be used, but I personally don't wish
to claim copyright to it, so public domain it is.

If I don't own the copyright, then I can't legally do that, and I
apologize to the Renée French and whoever drew the unicorn and put it
on the web without any copyright information to be found on several
pages that used it. I'd like to apologize to Renée anyway for ruining
her fantastic gopher.

Sadly, I do not have one handy. Since the original post asked for one,
though, I was curious if something less rare, like a drawing might
suffice. It seems to have already been resolved ;-)

I am sorry that my unicorns with the gopher were unsatisfactory. If I
may offer any consolation, they were not "Photoshopped", they were
"GIMPed".

Looks impressive. Maybe I should take it as a logo for this stuff:

http://www.unicorn-enterprises.com/express_go.html

But first some time must be found to upgrade it to Go 1 spec ...

I am probably late to the party, but I drew this up.

could you add a triangular figure (lets call him duke) impaled on the
unicorn's horn?

That would be decidedly uncharacteristic behavior for the gopher. They are friendly creatures with fine tastes and delicate sensibilities. Such a bloody display would surely shock the gopher into a deep existential reverie lasting several days.

Maybe your upside-down Aussie gophers are like that, but back here on the top half they've vicious and bloody creatures and, are to be shot on sight.
