God race conditions

I'm seeing that god is affected by several race conditions.

For example I have a misbehaving daemon that exists almost immediately after being started:

god correctly restarts it until "flapping" is triggered. Flapping sends a message to put it in "unmonitored" state however a quick flap in between calls "clear_events" which removes the event that would put it in "unmonitored" state, leading to a task flapping (and sending notifications) quickly and forever.
