Hi everyone

I'm starting god on my local mac like so

sudo god start -c ~/Sites/rails/gaol/config/local.god

but when I try to stop it like so

sudo god stop

I get this

Sending 'stop' command

No matching task or group

on my ubuntu servers I create an /etc/init.d/god script to handle
stopping and starting god, do I need to do something similar on my
mac?

Hi vanderkerkoff,

I think the command you are looking for is "god terminate" which ends
the god process.

If you want to use "god stop" you have to specify which task or group
(like the message says) you want to stop, check "god status" for the
list of tasks and groups you are running.

And "god -h" is good source for help.
