Do not get tempted by the fake news paper ads or newspaper inserts.
Only yesterday 3 conmen were arrested (not me) by Ponda Police in
a city hotel.
3 months ago, another 4, 9th Std failed, astrologers were
arrested by same Ponda police in a rented flat.
Ponda Police also requested people to report to them if
they came across any such conmen (as if they don't read newspapers)

Looks like some news papers going hand in gloves with such conmen?
At least, they make money from them (knowingly) and then again making  news out of them?

Where is newspaper ethics gone?
Are there any guidelines to follow while accepting newspaper advertisements?
Is there really something that can be done in hours or
any ‘impossible’ can be made ‘possible’ in astrology?
why using religious pictures in the ads? Who should check on all this?
Is it the money we are all after? Is this the way of protecting Goans in Goa?

Are police not checking our newspapers for sighting of  any possible conmen?
Or they only act upon a police complaint?
Or perhaps, they get their hafta from conmen too?

News items with con ads (?) in the same issue
