Dear Menino,

We thank you and our friends of the media (print/electronic) for
reporting the submission of the Canacona Flash Floods report in
today's newspapers.

The newsitems appearing in various newspapers highlights the main
reasons leading to the event and a few action points.

The Committee was hoping that today's newspaper reports would inform
the public that the committee report is available from nio website
www.nio.org

The newspapers have used the report to write today's news items, but
have not informed where they picked it up from. It would be very good
if a press release is issued indicating that the report is available
freely for download at the nio website.

This is the only way to enlarge awareness about such natural phenomena.
