Dear Dr Rao (and anyone else from the north of the Zuari), 

If you can make it to Margao, there's a 99% chance that we'll find transport to help you get back to Panjim after the function. The Kadamba service on the Panjim-Margao route is probably the best way to get there.

And here's a note on the venue

This is how to get there:
Even before entering Margao (just after crossing the Kadamba Bus Stand), take a left heading for the Fatorda Stadium. Ravindra Bhavan is on the main road, about 1 km from the Margao Circle outside town. FN
