Hey,
Democratic Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has recently signaled a
disturbing potential willingness to adopt a plan that could cut
benefits from Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.
These are three of America's most successful programs, and they've
been under relentless attack from corporate Republicans and Democrats
who want to see them privatized and their benefits -- which millions
of families rely on -- slashed in the process.
Cuts to Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security benefits are
unacceptable, and they shouldn't be put on the table by Democrats for
any reason. Leader Pelosi must stand up for these crucial programs.
